- I have the following partitions: boot manager, (primary) DOS FAT,
- (primary) OS/2 HFPS, and a logical FAT for data. When setting up the
- DOS partition, the config.sys file become erroneous -- easy to do when
- configuring memory. However, I can no longer access that partition at all
- to correct it: trying to boot to it will freeze due to the
- faulty configuration. Booting from a DOS disk in "A:" still doesn't access
- it, as "c:" is taken to be the logical FAT.
- And the primary OS/2 partion can't access the DOS partition, of course.
-
- I'm stuck! I'd really appreciate a fix for this that won't involve
- yet another complete installation of the whole system (which would be
- morally reprehensible with a serious computer system :-).
