- Well..... I use both TE/2 and HyperACCESS/5 V3.0.
-
- TE/2 seems to have better VT100.....but HA/5 has a lot of features that TE/2
- doesn't have at all.
-
- I just noticed that HA/5 is faster when using the 32-bit Trident drivers at
- 1024x768x256.
-
- TE/2 seems to "scroll" even on a blank window, whereas HA/5 scrolls a bit
- faster when it is scrolling, but is good and quick when writing to a blank
- window.
-
- When reading USEnet, the trn newsreader completely refreshes the window much
- of the time, so using HA/5 is better than TE/2 for speed.
-
- Can anyone explain why this is? I suppose that TE/2 uses a different method of
- updating the screen...
-
- BTW.... I have a Supra V32bis modem....so I like a quick screen refresh.
