  17. Hello all, I have a few problems with OS/2 nothing major, but I can't seem 
  18. to be able to figure it out.
  19.  
  20. 1)After boot major books OS/2 GA (no csd yet!) I get the chkdsk error
  21.   (although the following is from a os/2 window chkdsk program the 
  22.     error, and report are the same.)
  23.    My question is 
  24.     A) How do I fix this small but anoying problem?
  25.     B) How do I reduce the amount of swap file? 
  26.        I have a 486dx-50 with 32 mb of ram.

  28. The type of file system for the disk is HPFS.
  29. The HPFS file system program has been started.
  30. SYS0552: The system found file system errors on the
  31. disk specified.
  32. CHKDSK corrected an allocation error for the file \OS2\SYSTEM\SWAPPER.DAT.

  46. 2) My next problem is with the trident drivers... I have a 8900c and 
  47.    installed the pm12.zip file, and installed the 1024x768x256 with
  48.    8514/a resources, the WPS looks great, but my os/2, dos full screen 
  49.    sessions get garbled if I ctrl-esc back to the wps.  I have heard
  50.    that I might have to re-install the system, if so how can I save my 
  51.    current settings, I like where all the windows are, and my shadows
  52.    are extensiv
