- Here is the system configuration.
-
- IBM PS/2 55sx
- AOX MicroMaster 486/33
- 14mb RAM
- Adaptec SCSI 1640
- two drives
- first: 1 partition primary - IBM DOS 5.0 FAT
- boot manager
- second: 2 partitions 40 mb - Primary HPFS OS/2 2.0
- 89 mb - Extended HPFS (non boot)
-
- System runs fine without ServPack
-
- SP accepts all of the 12 regular 3.5" diskettes.
- Asks for 1st device driver disk
- and then hangs with an error that A:\OS2\FIX\PRODUCT.EXE
- reached an error condition upon exiting.
-
- product.exe is located on disk 12.
-
- From this point on I can't restart OS/2.
-
- Future attempts to run the SP leave service.log files
- on my DOS drive.
-
- The diskettes appear to be fine as they work on my Dell
- with a primary partition on drive 0.
-
- Has anyone successfully run the SP on a similar setup?
-
- Thanks in advance.
