- All my dos applications currently run with the DOS command processor
- shell. For various reasons I would rather they run with my nicely
- configured Ndos shell (same as 4dos isn't it?). However, when I change
- the Settings Shell line from
- C:\OS2\MDOS\COMMAND.COM C:\OS2\MDOS /P
- to
- c:\nu\ndos.com c:\nu /e:2048 /p
- I get the command shell but my application no longer runs, and the
- autoexec.bat file is not processed, and I don't get the usual
- "Invalid MS-DOS version" message.
-
- Come to think of it, why is that message there? Why is the DOS
- version listed as version 20.0?
