- Hi, I have a problem when running OS/2 full scrren session with the Trident
- 8900c video card...hopfully someone can help me on this.
-
- When I start a full screen os/2 session, I get a some corrupted screen
- with something this:
-
- [[DD ]] (or soemthing like that) which was suppose to be the D drive
- prompt...all the characters are like doubled up and some of the
- characters are missing...
-
- I am currently using the 16-bit tridetn 1024x768x256 video drive and
- the dos full screen seems to be fine (but with the original display.dll
- that came with the GA version, the dos full scrren was also messed up)
-
- also, I seem to have trouble switching between full screen graphics
- program and WPS, whenever I switch from a full screen graphics program
- to WPS and back, the graphics for the other program is all messed up
- no way of refreshing it...so I had to swtich back to WPS and kill it
- from there...(this problem also exist for Win-os2), does anybody have
- the same problem??
-
- I don't know if the hardware will have anything to do with these problems
- but here's what I got
-
- Tridetn 8900 C2.1 card
- 8 meg SIMM
- 130meg IDE (DOS on C, OS/2 on D, Swapper.dat on E)
- 85meg SCSI
- 386-40
