- It depends on what's on your disks. If your HPFS disk is your OS/2 boot
- disk, this could be problems. You couldn't reformat since there would
- be open files. You *might* be able to do this booting from the installation
- disks and escaping to cmd.exe.

- However, if the disk you wish to convert is *not* the boot disk and
- contains no files that are open, you should be able to do it. First, backup
- all your files (if you have the room, moving to another Hard disk is a good
- idea, I wouldn't have the space). Then format the now empty disk with the
- /fs option, e.g., format x: /FS:FAT where x is the drive letter of the
- disk to be formatted. You will be asked to verify what you are trying to
- do since reformatting a hard drive would be an easy way to create a disaster
- if you didn't mean to do it. That should be all you need to do except
- restore your files.
