- Here is a little fuel to the fire against the folks at Diamond.
- I purchased my Stealth back in March (about the same time OS2 and
- indows 3.1 came out) and the bios date was V2.14. the drivers were only for
- indows 3.0 (version 1.0). I received a set of Windows 3.1 drivers in May and
- inally had a stable( sort of) video display, This fall (september) I had
- roblems with running a game with VESA compatibility modes of the Stealth. I
- aled Diamond and they sent me a new set of Bios Chips (version 2.33) and a new
- ewt of drivers (ver 2.33) with windows 3.1 drivers version 1.1. This shows
- hat they have upgraded both their bios (from 2.14 in march to V2.33 in sept)
- nd their drivers for windows without providing anything for OS2. I finally
- ot a machine (486-33, 20MB) to run OS@ but now, after 9 months I still don't
- ave drivers for my Stealth under os2. Very disappointing.
- I wish Diamond could get its act together.
