- Hmmm, don't think so Tim. I'd be VERY interested to hear about this though.
- This is one of my sore points with OS/2 in general. I think Roland MPU-401
- support is A BIG PROBLEM. I heard a 'rumor' from the MMPM/2 camp that
- Roland and IBM had a falling out over this and Scott Swix, from IBM's MMPM/2
- group told me that "MPU-401 support under MMPM/2 is up to the manufacturers"
- I can't stick up for OS/2 here, as MIDI support is EXTREMEMLY important
- to me, and I've been trying to make it work since last April. MPU-401
- support under OS/2 *or* MMPM/2 is NOT HAPPENING. THIS IS VERY BAD!
-
- *Note* I have NOT seen the MMPM/2 package, just repeating what I've been
- told. I guess it's possible things have changed, but I doubt it. I may
- write to Swix to confirm (again). Anyone else with more info, please jump in.
- Also note that 'non MPU-401 midi support' apparently works under mmpm/2 and
- that MPU-401 hardware *appears* to work under OS/2, but not flawlessly.
-
- Always hoping to learn more....
