- Let me guess -- you have a Diamond Speedstar 24x or Western Digital/Paradise,
- right? You need a replacement driver called BVHSVGA.DLL . This driver
- can be found at ftp-os2.nmsu.edu in the directory /pub/os2/2.0/ibm/os2fixes
- in the file called bvsvga.zip [sic].
-
- I think that FAQ #10 of a future FAQL 2.0i should change from
- "...fixes installation problems involving Western Digital..."
- to
- "...fixes 'c0000005' installation problems involving Western Digital..."
- in paragraph two.

-
- If you ftp the driver from ftp-os2, you may also want to get os2tnd.zip in
- /pub/os2/2.0/ibm/info . This file contains ways to get around any bugs in
- the original OS/2 2.0 GA. (The only bug I ran into was that one-time
- c0000005 trap with my WD90C31, but I like the way IBM supports its customers).
