- To keep my monitor in synch, I have to have the "vmode monitor"
- command in the autoexec.bat file that is run every time I
- open a DOS window. This is only for hi res graphics modes.
- I have run SVGA ON from a full screen DOS session with the card
- set up properly. Is this normal?
-
- Also, very few of the hi res video drivers work. Same problem,
- the screen is not in synch. This includes the drivers included
- with the service pack. The Generic 800x600x16 drivers do work
- (and quite well, I might add).
-
- My monitor can only synch at 72hz in 800x600 modes, and I suspect
- that everything is defaulting to 60hz. Am I doing something
- wrong, or is this just a limitation?
