- If you have to use com ports 3 or 4 under WIN-OS/2 you may have
- to wait until WIN-OS/2 3.1 is out since win 3.0 only supports
- com 1 and 2. However as a previous WinQVt user and a registered
- Unicom user I strongly suggest that you try PMCOMM if you wish
- to stick to a comm program with a graphical interface. There
- are also other OS2 comm programs that are PM but PMCOMM is what
- I'am familiar with. It is shareware and you can ftp it from
- ftp-os2.nmsu.edu under /pub/os2/all/com/pmcom110.zip. If you
- browse around you will see a number of other PM comm programs.
- I did notice a file called pmqvt.zip but I do do not know anything
- about it.
-
- If you decide to register PMCOMM you will receive a 16-bit and
- 32-bit version upgrade. Current version is 2.0. I'am very pleased
- with the program after having used WinQvt and Unicom for windows.
- I'am also using a v.32 bis modem.
