- I find the new unofficial trident drivers quite nice, but i have one
- problem: the desktop undergoes a shift in color when I open a seamless
- window application or when using pmfract. Any suggestions?
- I have had a few problems since the service pack. Some communications
- programs occasionally hang the machine (which can only be fixed by turning
- off the modem--this immediately restores full control to the mouse,
- keyboard, and screen). Is this due to some quirk in my using 16550 uarts.
- NOte that this only happens with OS/2 comm programs and that I have not
- added any special lines since installing the 16550 UARTs.
- The second problem is with the WPS. It occasionally refuses to keep
- all the info about a program, the worst being loss of the programs name,
- it may be correlated with nearly filled FAT disks, because I was able to
- prevent the problem with at least one program by moving its executables to
- an HPFS volume.
- thanks for any help.
