- There are those who have gotten it work work under OS/2 DOS box. The
- trick is to find the right combination of IRQs and address such that
- there is absolutely no conflicts. In DOS, you can get away from cheating
- such as using IRQ 7 which is really for printers but nobody uses it so
- it is ok... under REAL DOS. For me, I have too many things in my
- computer (com2, bus mouse, tape backup....etc) such that I have to use
- these "cheating" methods to get around the limitations so I can't get it
- to work. But if you have a scaled down computer system without all the
- works, you might be able to find the right combo of IRQs to make it
- work under OS/2. Remember, you can't cheat as if you're in DOS.
-
- As for the OS/2 driver, they will get around to it (Gravis that is) but
- it's not on the top of their list. So as I always tell others, everyone
- should write Gravis and tell them that OS/2 is for real. Sound Blaster
- already have an OS/2 driver and PAS OS/2 driver is coming (or is it here
- already). So they should get their going. So for all with email access,
- you should write to...

- AND

- yuzik@sfu.ca - for Chris, the sales guy

-
- Let them know OS/2 is for real, and other soundcards already have OS/2
- drivers or have it coming real soon.
