- I constantly got those for a while. It is a known Kermit bug within the HA/5
- program. They can't seem to fix it. I finally got it to transfer but I had to
- reload HA/5 and not change any .cfg files after the install. When I migrated my
- old .cfg files over to 3.0, i got the errors. But without the old files, the
- lines on the news groups came out cockeyed. So I had 2 HA/5 directories, one
- for reading and one for d/l. What a kludge. My file transfers were only 300 or
- so cps with a 14.4 connection. So I did the simple thing and d/l the new
- CK5a188 beta kermit package and now i have no problems. My throughput on file
- transfers is now close to 1300 cps with packet-length's of 2000.
