  11. I need to create an OS/2 system for someone.
  12. Could somebody tell me what is necessary for a smooth OS/2 system?
  13. In other words, it performs as quickly as a decent MAC (SE or SE/30),
  14. the disk icon in OS/2 is quick to responed and shows what is on the 
  15. disk quickly, and the programs start at a decent speed.

  17. Just to be more persuasive to respond, I am writing a proposal for 
  18. the computer teacher of my High School Computer room. The idea is
  19. to get a working and decent IBM computer in there. The whole is
  20. school MAC. Rumor has it we will be getting a old IBM Model 80 from
  21. some other part of the school. Will that do? We also plan to demostrate
  22. that IBMs are not at all hard and OS/2 is a good way to go, to show them that!

  24. Also I just would like to see what is the range of OS/2 users.
  25. I'll start. I am a junior in High School. I have been using OS/2 
  26. for about 2 years.
