- : This solution won't do you much good if you want to display the icons on your
- : desktop. OS/2 automatically loads the appropriate bitmap image for your
- : display resolution. If you don't have one, it scales one from the independent
- : form. What you need to do is tell OS/2 that you want a different icon size.
- : You may or may not be able to do that depending upon your display adapter and
- : display device driver. For example, if you have an IBM Image Adapter or 8514
- : or ATI Ultra running in 8514 mode, there is a setting in OS2.INI (somewhere
- : I don't know which one) that you can set to change the size to the 64 x 64
- : icon. I do not think that any other display driver supports this size.
- :
- -: 64 x 64 icons were a thing in OS/2 1.2 and have not been seen since then.
- -: Personally, I thought they were a little TOO big... but then again, I don't
- -: like fixed size icons either.

- Incorrect! I have made several icons in 64x64, and they show up just fine
- on the desktop right next to the normal system 32x32s. They are the same
- size, only greater detail.
