- When you do so, also *clamor* for a multi-threaded version; I'm using it
- at work on a system with *no* other users, and it drags -- printing a
- document should *not* give an hourglass in another document window! Make
- sure you complain about this as well (the squeaky wheel and all that). (It
- also does this when saving, when making changes while those extra windows
- that display paragraph and character types are being updated, etc -- as with
- OS/2 2.0, multitasking can't make the CPU run faster, but it certainly can
- increase the response time, thus making the system *seem* faster to the
- user (and actually increasing throughput, since when one thread is waiting
- on i/o another could be doing something useful). Enough advocacy; you guys
- already know all this.) :-)
