  12. I just wanted to know if anybody else has seen this behavior.

  14. 1) I can call up the Command Reference but when I try to access a command
  15.     I get an error message, where the WPS restarts itself. Then NONE of the
  16.     windows, message boxes, or dialog boxes render properly. This condition
  17.     gets worse with every attempt to do anything such that the system is 
  18.     COMPLETLY HUNG in about 30 seconds. ONLY POWER CYCLING BRINGS IT BACK!

  20. 2) Any attempt to use the Scheme Editor produces similar problems.

  22. I went back to standard VGA after having to chkdsk /f:3 on both my hpfs 
  23. partitions THREE TIMES EACH, and reinstalling the SP. Otherwise the system
  24. would not finish booting, it stuck at the flashing curser after the os2 logo.
  25. And yes I did make the suggested backups when I installed the drivers and 
  26. copied the files back to their appropriate directories when I tried to restore
  27. standard VGA. Also the colors were, shall we say, less than correct.

  29. I did otherwise like the drivers.

  31. By the way my system is as follows

  33. 486/33 64K cache
  34. Two 120 MB Maxtor IDE Drives
  35.     Master: C partition Primay, FAT, 80 MB  
  36.             E partition Logical OS/2 boot area, HPFS, 40 MB
  37.     Slave:  D partition OS/2 data and Swapfile, HPFS, 120 MB
  38. 16 MB ram
  39. Trident 8900C SVGA (obviously)

  41. Unless someone tells me something to the contrary I'm going to assume these
  42. are still bugs in the beta code and give trident a buzz.
