  12. [On the problem of installing the SP, which bombs out]

  14. When I installed the SP, enverything went smoothly until the time came 
  15. to reboot. The system hung, and every reboot would do the same.
  16.  
  17. I then went in with a floppy-boot and found out that the system want SVGA
  18. but the file made by SVGA (SVADAT.PMI ??) was missing. 
  19.  
  20. The solution was to copy svga.{com,exe} to a floppy, and then reboot DOS.
  21. There you get into high resolution mode using one of the programs which
  22. comes with your hunky-dory SVGA card (ET4000 have vmode) and run SVGA ON.
  23. Note:
  24.     Make shure you have a directory called \os2, otherwise it'll give a 
  25.     nonsense reply and nothing happens
  26.      
  27. Then copy this file to the \OS2 on your OS2 disk.

  29. After this rebooting did the trick.
