  13. I recently purchased Brief 3.1 for OS/2. I found it overall to be a good
  14. product, although i have tested the sophisticated commands/macros only
  15. in DOS mode.
  16. In the OS/2 version, I found what I believe is an awful bug. Try entering
  17. a file with:

  19. abcdef
  20. abcdef
  21. abcdef
  22. abcdef
  23. abcdef
  24. abcdef
  25. ****************
  26. and type:
  27. <Alt-T>
  28. a{?}
  29. \0a
  30. You would expect this to replace ab's by ba's, wouldn't you ?
  31. Well, it works in the DOS version, but not the OS/2 version.
  32. Could somebody please confirm?
  33. I tried sending a mail to customer-support@borland.com, but they
  34. refused assistance, saying I should connect to compuserve. And I was
  35. dumb enough to read their ad saying they're 'famous for their support...'
