- Just a guess, but having suffered the slings and arrows, I'd suggest
- it might be the version of ibm1s506.add, potentially. The driver for
- ESDI/IDE/MFM/RLL disks has had problems since GA, but they seem to
- be mostly resolved now.

- If you want to test it out, try replacing the ibm1s506.add on the
- appropriate Service Pack disk, disk1 or 2, whatever, with the
- original version from the GA diskettes. Then try servicing again,
- it should just clean up the final bits if this works, and you can
- try out the 256 colour SVGA drivers for the ET4000. Get back to us
- if this doesn't work out for you.
