- The exact combination that caused the problem for a person on Compuserver was:
-
- RUN=C:\OS2\MODE.COM ....
- CALL=D:\TOOLS\SHIFTRUN.EXE 5 CMD.EXE
-
- That person has since resolved their problem by removing the line:
-
- RUN=C:\OS2\MODE.COM ...
-
- Although, this may not be a desirable solution. It might be possible to
- change RUN= to CALL= in the above list and still have things work
- properly. I also believe reversing the order of the two statements such
- that MODE.COM gets called AFTER shiftrun is executed will also solve the
- problem.
-
- I have had a request to allow an option to change the hotkey from left
- shift to a user selected key. I'll see what I can do as time permits.
-
- Keep in mind that IBM's official statement of support is basically
- "use at your own risk... there is no support for EWS utilities."
