- - Happy holiday season friends (happy summer Aussie's, etc.!!),
- -
- - BRIEF:
- - I need HELP. A friend got me a Gateway 2000 Telepath v.32bis
- - Class 1&2 faxmodem and I have really enjoyed it. REALLY!
- - ...well then there's the fax side...
- -
- - BACKGROUND:
- -
- - I have not, however, enjoyed _trying_ to get a Fax into or out of it!
- - I first struggled to try to get WinFax Pro (windoze) to work with it.
- Although this is not elegant it may be the quickest solution for you.
- Depends on how much you time is worth. Buy a cheap fax card that works
- with PMFAX for your faxes and use the Gateway for telecommunication if it
- is a real high speed modem. I use a cheap zoltrix with PMFAX ABOUT 80.00
- and it is a super performer in both fax and modem modes with OS2 and
- pmfax. If the fax side is bizarre on you gateway unless you want to pull
- your hair out toast it for faxes.
