  10. I called WordPerfect the other day and got some info you 
  11. might be interested in.  According to the lady who helped 
  12. me, they are working on three applications for OS/2 2.0.
  13. They are WordPerfect (of course), WP Office, and 
  14. Presentations.  
  15.  
  16. WordPerfect is now in "pre-release," but the only date
  17. she could give me for any of the apps was "1993."  She
  18. did say that it will be version 6.0 of WP and it is being
  19. written as a pure 32 bit application.  She said the DOS
  20. version should be out in January or so and she assumed
  21. that the OS/2 version would be out a month or two after
  22. that.  She said it would be priced the same as the
  23. DOS version.  She also took my name and promised to call
  24. back when she got more info.

  26. It is a bit aggravating that it is taking them so long to
  27. get their word processor out.  They are trying to integrate
  28. the interface on all machines with version 6.0,
  29. so maybe they have an excuse to take so long, but I am
  30. getting impatient.  I figure that if they can't give me
  31. better info in the next month or so, I will take a more
  32. serious look at AMI Pro and Describe.  I hate to leave
  33. a company that gives such exellent support, but I want
  34. REAL apps, now!

  36. Oh well, enough ranting.  I hope this interested someone...
