- direct writes to video memory, not the accelerator.

- 32-bit memory aperture.

- Point two: you **have** to use this method to access the video ram in
- 24 bit color mode. It in fact says that. It does not say, but perhaps
- implies, that the accelerator does not work in 24 bit color mode. Perhaps
- it works, but you just cannot directly access the memory. Maybe this
- is why Windows drivers are not available (yet) in 24 bit color modes.
