- COM1 and COM3 share the same interrupt..IRQ4. Sometimes DOS will let you use
- COM3, even if you already have a mouse on COM1, but Windows (especially 3.0)
- does not work properly with COM3 or COM4, especially if you already have the
- interrupt taken over by another device, such as your mouse.
- You either have to move your mouse to COM2 (something Windows 3.0 also
- probably won't agree with) or move your modem to COM2. You *might* try
- putting it on COM4, but the way Windows is with 3 and 4, I doubt it'll work...
