- Herein lines your mistake. Do not telnet in. Instead, use anonymous
- ftp. This assumes the machine you originate from has ftp. If so, type:
-
- ftp ftp.cica.indiana.edu
-
- Then, when it prompts you for a login, type: anonymous
-
- Then, when it prompts you for your username, type: dogger@netlink.cts.com
-
- >Does anyone know how I can log onto the subject computer as

- >know is available on this computer.
-
- After that, you'll type: cd pub/pc/win3
-
- Then you can type: dir
-
- It will present you with a list of directories. Use the cd command + whatever
- directory you want. To get your file, make sure you've typed "bin" first so
- you get a binary file. Then "get" whatever file. Type: get filename.zip
- where filename is whatever file you are after. Now, it should be on the
- account you originated from. Use whatever download protocol you are supposed
- to use on the machine you are at.
