- This was a well known problem with v2.0 ... The solution to it has been
- distributed net.wide, and the people at Stac technical support can tell
- you exactly how to fix this problem... In fact, I think it was even
- put in the manuals...I still have v1.x, however, so I don't know for
- sure about this last one.
- Anyway, don't slam Stacker too hard because it didn't work for you.
- Some machines just don't get along with some software. I have been using
- Stacker happily for over two years now, and I have *never* had *any*
- problems with a Stacker volume. At all.
- Your suggestion to have the user re-install without Stacker is a
- good place to start. In fact, it may very well be his problem. But
- don't tell a user to dump a program until you have reason to.
