- I grabbed the mxxnt5.zip file from ~/pub/pc/win3/uploads at CICA and
- followed the install procedure. Upon restarting NT, I get the message
- "VGAWONDER or ATI accelerator not found" and NT comes up using my previous
- video settings (Video 7 VRAM II at 1024x768x16). At first, I guessed that
- this was because I had placed the board at D000 instead of the default C880,
- so I moved it to C880 -- no change.
-
- Hardware: Dell 486/33 EISA w/ 16 MB RAM
- Adaptec 1542B SCSI host adapter
- Video 7 VRAM II with 1 MB RAM
- ATI 8514/ULTRA with 1 MB RAM
-
- The ATI card works fine in Windows -- I usually use the 8514/a (small fonts)
- driver.
-
- Oh well, maybe in version 0.06 ...

- P.S. Hey ATI -- thanks for trying! And thanks for making it available
- for testing. (and more thanks later, when I get it working ...)
