  19. We have two PC at home on an ethernet, one running Windows for
  20. Workgroups, and one with NT. We are able to share discs on both systems
  21. without any problem. The only inconvinience was that drives have to be
  22. speciffied manually, instead of being chosen from the menu of sharable
  23. drives. By the way I am able to acess the CD rom on the NT system from
  24. the WfW machine.  also if you use MS-DOS prompt on the WfW systems then
  25. the shared drives will be visible there.

  27. If you are using Windows for Workgroups for printing and the printer is
  28. on the NT side, make sure that you do not attempt to choose the printer
  29. from the menu of available shared printers - this will cause a lan rror
  30. that on my WfW system required a reboot to fix. Instead just type the
  31. network name of the printer.
