  13. Is there on compuserve an update for fastfat.sys or 
  14. atdisk.sys ???????

  19. Hello Out there !
  20. I tried to intall Win NT over Network, started winnt.exe,
  21. which copied all ao the i386 dir to my disk, 
  22. it then booted from floppy, installed everything to 
  23. the winnt dir, but after this it tries to boot with following 
  24. messages:

  28. NT Bootloader ...(something like that)

  30. multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(o) partition(3)
  31. /..../ntoskernel.exe
  32. /..../hal.dll
  33. /..../config/system

  35. /..../fastfat.sys

  37. after this last line, the system hangs with following message:

  53. My system includes :

  55. 486 50 Mhz with Opti chipset ( the newer with the 495...)
  56. Amibios from 1991 (but the board is new (oct 92'))
  57. 16MB of memory
  58. AT-Bus seagate st3283a harddisk
  59. multi-i/o card with atbus harddisk controller
  60.  
  61. SO, what is the clue here ????
