  13. After waiting many many weeks for the October drop of NT I installed it
  14. almost immediately.

  16. The start of the install occured from a cd mounted in a novell server.
  17.  
  18. The installation was express, the only anomalie being a couple of tries
  19. at getting the domain info correct for lan manager.
  20.  
  21. I was very impressed at the quality of the install process up untill it
  22. indicated that it was deleting some interim files, I presume near the end.

  24. At this point the box hung, a cold boot being required to bring it back to
  25. life, no further messages and only a small flurry of disk activity later.
  26.  
  27. I intend to reinstall again when I have a moment. Does anyone have experience
  28. of this sort of problem?  Was the installation nearly complete? (Everything
  29. that I have tried seems to work ok.)  All clues as to the cause would be
  30. appreciated.
