- Hello Out there !
- I tried to intall Win NT over Network, started winnt.exe,
- which copied all ao the i386 dir to my disk,
- it then booted from floppy, installed everything to
- the winnt dir, but after this it tries to boot with following
- messages:
-
-
-
-
-
- NT Bootloader ...(something like that)
-
- multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(o) partition(3)
- /..../ntoskernel.exe
- /..../hal.dll
- /..../config/system
- /..../drivers/atdisk.sys
- /..../fastfat.sys
-
- after this last line, the system hangs with following message:
-
-
-
- FATAL SYSTEM ERROR
-
- *** 0x0000000A
-
- *** IRQL expected to be less or equal
-
- Kernel Debuger using COM2

- What can I do ??????????????????????????
-
- I have an 486/50 whith 230MB ATBUS-Harddisk, removed the
- network card (thought that this would help :-( ), 16 MB of
- Main Memory, and nothing else in it. I tried nearly everything,
- from slowing down to 25 MHz, to disabling BIOS caching and slowing down
- the at-bus, replacing my multi-I/O-Card with an AT-Bus-Card with the
- original WD-Chipset, disabling any external memory caching,
- but always (after deleting the created directories and rexecuting
- winnt.exe, always the same error occured. Itried to edit the registry,
- but I cant run regedit.exe, because i have no running NT ??
- I understand the error as that something on my board has the wrong IRQ,
- but how can I change it ???
-
- SO, what is the clue here ????
-
- Please help !
-
- Many thanks in advance ...
-
- P.S. : With Win 3.1 everything worked fine ...
