  14.     Some folks here have asked me to look into what are the "best" GUI
  15. development kits for MS Windows.  They are Windows novices who plan on porting
  16. an application from Unix (X11) and would like to start off using a good set of
  17. tools.  Since I'm also a Windows novice, any recommendations, warnings, etc. 
  18. about such kits would be much appreciated.  I will post a summary of responses
  19. to the net.
