  12. Incidentally, one reason that people might be inclined to send mail rather
  13. than post is that often, when posting, you get no acknowledgement that the
  14. person asking the question found your solution helpful or not.  I can't 
  15. tell you how often I've replied to NetNews questions, but haven't gotten
  16. any sort of reply.
