  11. I have developed a VB 2.0 application that uses several DLL's including
  12. Btrieve for Windows, Crystal Reports and a couple that I wrote using
  13. Turbo Pascal for Windows.  It runs just fine in interpreted mode, but
  14. when I compile it and try to run the .EXE I get a General Protection
  15. Fault and I lose my mouse.  This only happens on machines at work that
  16. are running MS LanManager 2.1 (it does not happen on my non-networked
  17. system at home).  The funny thing is that I can run the .EXE just fine
  18. if VB is also running, but it crashes my system if I try to run it 
  19. without having VB loaded.  The VB 2.0 application is fairly simple
  20. (i.e. no graphics, just data entry forms at this point), but it does
  21. use MDI.

  23. Any suggestions on what might be causing this problem or how to 
  24. track down the cause?

  26. My system configuration is: 80386, 8MB, Windows 3.1, DOS 5.0, and
  27. LanManager 2.1.
