- I have developed a VB 2.0 application that uses several DLL's including
- Btrieve for Windows, Crystal Reports and a couple that I wrote using
- Turbo Pascal for Windows. It runs just fine in interpreted mode, but
- when I compile it and try to run the .EXE I get a General Protection
- Fault and I lose my mouse. This only happens on machines at work that
- are running MS LanManager 2.1 (it does not happen on my non-networked
- system at home). The funny thing is that I can run the .EXE just fine
- if VB is also running, but it crashes my system if I try to run it
- without having VB loaded. The VB 2.0 application is fairly simple
- (i.e. no graphics, just data entry forms at this point), but it does
- use MDI.
-
- Any suggestions on what might be causing this problem or how to
- track down the cause?
-
- My system configuration is: 80386, 8MB, Windows 3.1, DOS 5.0, and
- LanManager 2.1.
-
- Thanks
