  14. The Win32 API is to be found as a help-file on ftp.uu.net
  15. /vendor/microsoft/win32-api. What follows is the readme-file from that
  16. directory:

  20.   The following files are preliminary versions of the
  21.   Win32(tm) Application Programming Interface. Microsoft
  22.   is providing these files in preliminary form to give
  23.   Windows developers a chance to review and understand
  24.   the changes between the Windows 3.x API and the Win32
  25.   API. These files may be redistributed without fee
  26.   in unmodified form subject to the copyright statement,
  27.   which is the last topic in the help overview.

  29.   The help files are provided in Winhelp form: Because
  30.   this file is almost 6MB, it is available here in pieces,
  31.   API32W.001 through .010. Download the files in pieces,
  32.   and also download COMBIN.BAT which will combine
  33.   the pieces to recreate the original file.

  35.   If you are not a Windows 3.1 site and you wish to use
  36.   the api32wh.hlp file, you will need to download the 
  37.   wh307c.zip file, and unpack it to re-create a version
  38.   of WinHelp.exe which will read it. The Windows 3.1
  39.   WinHelp.exe program whould also read api32wh.hlp, and
  40.   the wh307c.zip version should read Windows 3.0 help files.
