  13.     I recently installed Windows 3.1 on my 486DX33 and I have to admit
  14. --being a command-line buff-- that I was impressed... However I cant seem
  15. to be able to finetune memory management...My problem is this: I tried 
  16. running Win with qemm-386 version 5, but windows hung on exiting. I also
  17. tried running it w/ emm386 and the same thing happened. Now I am running
  18. plain old himem.sys and everything is working fine, but I cant say I am
  19. pleased with available conventional memory, so I want to run some memory
  20. manager... What is the best way to configure this --if any-- ???
  21. Should I use Smartdrive and how?? Is there an incompatibility problem 
  22. between these apps or is there a problem w/ my machine --its a 'lego'...--
  23. I would appreciate any kind of input on this... Thanx in advance...
