  16. Where do you actually see this disabling of interrupts you refer to for
  17. 4 milliseconds?  I have Windows running on multiple machines, and we
  18. do high speed downloads all the time with a Windows comm program, PC+
  19. for Windows, we see none of these problems, even with a 16450 UART.
  20. Where did the 4ms figure come from, it would seem that it would be
  21. dependent on the speed of the processor.  Perhaps, what you really need
  22. is some help with your configuration, so it can run smoothly like most
  23. of the rest of us... :-)
