- I had sharing violations when running the Norton AntiVirus for Windows
- (included in the Desktop package) until I REMed out the CONFIG.SYS line
-
- DEVICE=C:\NDW\NAV&.SYS /B
-
- which activates the real-time virus intercept. I had this problem on
- systems regardless of whether I was running Stacker. With that device
- driver inactivated, I have had no problems running Stacker and Norton
- AntiVirus whatsoever. (I run the virus checks automatically in the wee
- morning hours via Wcron.)
