- We have a problem that has exhausted our local resources, any ideas from
- the Internet community would be greatly appreciated! We have a 386 Clone
- that was configured to load DEC Pathworks and then launch Microsoft Windows
- 3.0. The person who was on the computer was trying to clean up the PC by
- using the File Manager. While moving some files, the PC locked up. She
- rebooted the machine. When the machine came back up, the Pathworks
- software was loaded and Windows was called. The Windows banner page came
- up and then a DOS prompt showed up in the upper left-hand corner of the
- screen.

- We have reinstalled Windows, copied all INI files from another machine to
- this one with the same result.
