- Hi! I bought a Gravis Ultrasound recently, and muchj to my dismay I discovered
- that my Win31 now refuses to boot in Enhanced mode, and I must settle for
- standard mode. Interestingly, it refused to load even after I removed the
- GUS. I reinstalled it both Win and the GUS, and again it fails to do
- enhanced. Win loaded perfectly before I removed my SBpro [and I never
- installed the SB drivers, so I doubt that it misses my card.
-
- My system is a 486-50 EISA 16mb machine with an AMI FASTSCSI-C controller.
- I am not using any EMS, and only use XMS. My video is an 8514 Ultra and a DCS
- SpeedSTAR plus.
-
- Any help would be most appreciated.
