- My coworker had the same problem with a 2MB system. I had the same
- problem with a 4MB system, although I have to say less frequently
- than she did on the 2MB system. We both have 386-20s with standard
- VGA monitor, and running Windows in standard mode (386-enhanced mode
- is not at all stable on these machines, I think due to an incompatibility
- with 1989 AMI BIOS, but that's a whole other problem...)

- Consider yourself lucky; the only thing that would work for me is
- Control-Alt-Delete. I couldn't kill them from the Task Manager.
-
- I've called Microsoft on this several times (and so did my coworker),
- but to no avail. The only problem they knew about (I can't remember
- the details) had no connection to this problem.
-
- I'd love to know the answer as well. Anyone from Microsoft read this
- newsgroup?
