- I'm not exactly sure if I understand what you're saying, but WinWord
- does install things into a subdirectory of the Windows directory. This
- subdirectory is called MSAPPS and contains little add-on type things
- (Word Art, Draw, etc...) that can be shared by several other MS products.
- I assume it needs to be there so that all the applications that use
- them will know where to find them -- that's why they don't necessarily
- go on the partition you specify to install WinWord on. Anyway, it's no
- a virus.
