- I am using Q+E and Microsoft Excel 4.0 macros to access an Oracle database.
- When I put the following formula into a cell on an Excel macrosheet, it
- gets an #N/A. If I then put the cursor in the formula bar of the cell
- and hit "enter", the formula is then evaluated and returns a number. Why
- doesn't it work the first time?
-
- =qe|'SELECT count(TRNO) FROM Oracle|ACTIVE_TR WHERE SYS = ''COMMKIT''
- AND CONF_SEV <= ''2'' AND STAT <> ''CLOSED'' AND
- (RTYPE=''DEFECT'' OR RTYPE=''SERVICE'' OR RTYPE=''NONE'')'!all
-
- The same thing happens when I edit the COMMKIT to put in another value
- for sys. I have to edit, enter, select formula bar, enter before I can
- get a value.
-
- I have been in touch with Microsoft support, and they haven't been
- much help so far. Anybody have an idea?
