- Strange problem with Microsoft 'C' v 1.0 (lattice 2.13)
- yeah, I know, but for reasons beyond my control I have to maintain this
- code...:( I have a totaly legal line of 'c' code that has worked
- flawlessly for every version of dos from 2.10 to 3.3 It breaks under
- 5.0. fopen("filename","w+"). comes back with an error.
- error is "no file/directory" on opening the file.
- file name c:\190prg\trial4.tmp
-
- Is there some subtle diffrence between dos 3.1 and dos 5.0 when it comes
- to handling a file with a "w+" open? It works fine with "w", but that
- is not what I want.
- Cheers
- Woody
