  14. I am going to be rewriting LAN software for my company and we need to
  15. use TCP/IP and some sort of socket API. 
  16.  
  17. We're not happy using FTP software's PC/TCP for DOS because the 
  18. programmers development kit forces you to replace the Microsoft system
  19. include files with their own butchered version. 
  20.  
  21. We cannot use Beame & Whitesides TCP/IP and socket library either.  We
  22. must operate in a nonblocking mode and their socket library blocks
  23. on a soclose() call if there is a physical break in communications. 
  24.  
  25. I am currently looking into both Network Researches "Fusion for DOS"
  26. and Novell's LAN WorkPlace Toolkit (for LAN WorkPlace for DOS) as 
  27. a replacement solution.

  30. Has anyone out there reading this had experience with either of the
  31. two mention packadges?  Can anyone reccommend any others?  I need
  32. help as I've already bought two packadges only to find out their
  33. limitations and am hesitant to buy any more until I know for sure that
  34. they are any good.
