  33. Well, that *does* sound like the most likely possibility. Try booting off
  34. a clean floppy. Format A: /S and then boot off the disk. If it works then
  35. you've got a software problem.

  37. If it doesn't work, try pulling the other video card, and changing your
  38. config to mono. If it *still* doesn't work, you've got a hardware problem.

  40. BTW, if it *is* 386MAX, you had a crash waiting to happen. Because your
  41. VGA card can use the same address space that the mono card does.
