  10. Has anyone out there in DOSland ever had a nagging MEMORY ALLOCATION ERROR
  11. CANNOT LOAD COMMAND, SYSTEM HALTED???  As I understand, it means that the
  12. area of memory that DOS uses to track used/available memory has been corrupted,
  13. but I've tried many different system configurations, including NO autoexec, and
  14. no config, but I still get that damn message consistently with certain programs
  15. (EXE & COM files) like Chessmaster 3000 when I try to shell-out to DOS and when
  16. I load Norton's Scheduler TSR, among others.

  18. Anybody have *any* helpful advice?  What the hek is going on?  Thanks in advance
