- Has anyone out there in DOSland ever had a nagging MEMORY ALLOCATION ERROR
- CANNOT LOAD COMMAND, SYSTEM HALTED??? As I understand, it means that the
- area of memory that DOS uses to track used/available memory has been corrupted,
- but I've tried many different system configurations, including NO autoexec, and
- no config, but I still get that damn message consistently with certain programs
- (EXE & COM files) like Chessmaster 3000 when I try to shell-out to DOS and when
- I load Norton's Scheduler TSR, among others.
-
- Anybody have *any* helpful advice? What the hek is going on? Thanks in advance
-
- Francis
